Getting Started with $GMINE: A Beginner's Guide

Never used cryptocurrency before? No problem. GeoMine is designed to be the easiest way to start earning crypto. This guide assumes zero knowledge.

What Is Cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency is digital money that exists on a blockchain (a public, tamper-proof ledger). Unlike regular money, it's not controlled by any bank or government. Bitcoin was the first; there are now thousands, including $GMINE.

What Is $GMINE?

$GMINE is GeoMine's cryptocurrency token. It lives on the Polygon blockchain. You earn it by visiting businesses. In the future, you'll be able to spend it or trade it for other currencies.

Step 1: Download the App

Get GeoMine from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Search "GeoMine" — it's the one with the gold pickaxe logo.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Tap "Sign Up" and enter your email and a password. That's it. No credit card, no KYC, no wallet seed phrases. A wallet is automatically created for you.

Step 3: Allow Location Access

The app will ask to use your location "While Using the App." Say yes — this is how GeoMine verifies you're actually at a business. We only access location during mining (never in the background).

Step 4: Find a Business

Open the Map tab. You'll see markers for participating businesses. Each marker shows the business name, category, and tier (Bronze, Silver, or Gold). Gold = highest earning rate.

Step 5: Walk In and Mine

When you're physically at a business, tap the marker and then "Start Mining." You'll see a timer and a coin counter. Stay at least 15 minutes to earn coins.

Step 6: Check Your Wallet

After your session, go to the Wallet tab. You'll see your balance and a log of all your earnings. Congratulations — you own cryptocurrency.

What's Next?

Keep mining at different businesses. The more you mine, the more you earn. As the platform grows, you'll be able to spend $GMINE at businesses, trade it on exchanges, or hold it as the value grows.
